The objective of the course is to increase students&rsquo, understanding of the various ways of internationalization of SMEs, starting from the needs of the business strategy. As learning outcome, students will develop their know-how of successful and profitable business concepts in international markets and get tools to assess them. The students will become familiar with the field of research of the internationalization of the firm and, as a consequence, will be able to understand process and network approaches to of internationalization. The students will also be able to develop a strategy of internationalization and growth in a chosen market and analyze the market and entry mode selection. A specific emphasis is put on the legislative tradition and the challenges of legislation in the target countries. Furthermore, the students will be able to define the main financial instruments for the internationalization process.
